Bio
Nick Fierro is a comedian and writer from New Jersey. Nick has performed his endearing yet unsettling brand of comedy everywhere from subway stations to punk houses to theaters—and he once performed at Rikers Island to mixed reviews. He started his comedy career as a sketch writer and actor, performing regularly at the Peoples Improv Theater in New York City, WFMU’s Monty Hall in Jersey City, and the Manhattan Neighborhood Network.
Nick produced and performed on WFMU’s Prove it All Night and Redundancy Radio, and was a regular contributor on WFMU's In Real Life. He has been seen on The Special without Brett Davis and The Best Show with Tom Sharpling. Nick also works as a part-time grave digger and puppeteer. He wrote a short book about a day in the life of marine birds titled Checkers on the Beach which was illustrated by Anthony Bartolacci. Nick is good at pool after two beers and lives near the train tracks with his wife and cat. You can follow him @schtickfierro.
